Ralph Lauren has shown the world that style is much more than fashion and clothing but also a lifestlye of giving back to the community.
After several arduous months of planning and promotion the 1st Annual Lo End Theory Atlanta event series took place Labor Day weekend to some peaks and valleys but overall good reviews, lessons learn, and a new enthusiasm for what is to come!
Show Ya Lo Artist Showcase & BBQ:
Held on Friday September 3, 2010 at the H. Lenore Event Space near the Capital building in downtown Atlanta. The event was hosted by DJ Teknology who also provided the music along side celebrity Chef Jason Ellis from FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen who provided the BBQ. Attended by the likes of local entertainment personality and face of Tree of Life wine companyMo Reilley, Mattie James of Rolling Out and editor of Singer’s Room, and club owner J. Chris each was impressed by the quality of the performances and the willingness of upcoming members of the Atlanta music scene to give back.
Life of Style Charity Luncheon:
The closing event for the Lo End Theory weekend was the Life of Style Charity Luncheon held at Chris “Ludacris” Bridges‘ Straits restaurant in Downtown Atlanta on Sunday September 5, 2010. Live music was provided by fusion band Grits and Jelly Butter and attendees were able to enjoy the first tastes of an awesome new brunch menu offered by the Singaporean restaurant. Mitzi Jiles the honored hero whom the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Georgia Chapter is raising money in honor of enjoyed brunch at the event and was absolutely floored by the support of the restaurant and those in attendance.
